CMP: COLLEGE MISSION PROGRAMS
FREE WILL BAPTIST INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS is looking for college students who want to impact their world for Jesus Christ. If you are interested, the College Missions Program may be for you. All Free Will Baptist college-age students are invited to apply. Participation from across the U.S. and a variety of schools is growing. CMP has two primary components: team projects and individual assignments.
» College Mission Programs (CMP) Teams
Any college-aged student is eligible to apply for a CMP trip. Teams serve overseas for as little as 10 days and up to three weeks and participate in training sessions prior to departure. Participants must be service minded and willing to endure a vigorous schedule and challenging conditions. Common destinations include Bulgaria, Central Asia, the Mediterranean region, and Ivory Coast. Costs range from $3,200 to $4,000.
» Overseas Apprentice (OA)
This program typically serves upper-level missions students who are required to have extended field experience to complete a missions degree. OAs sample missionary life and ministry in a seven- to 10-week assignment, usually during the summer months. OAs live with the missionary family, serve the people of the host culture, and learn basic principles of cross-cultural church-planting missions. Requirements and tuition costs for college credit are set by the student’s college or university. Other OA related costs range from $2,600 to $4,500.
