Creative Access: The Hanna Project took a team of men to Central Asia on Wednesday, April 30. Praise the Lord they had safety of travel and things are going as planned. Pray the remainder of the trip will go well and all three playgrounds will be installed. Also, pray for safety as they return to the States May 12.
Brazil: The Marincek FWB Church in Ribeirão Preto has a Sunday school enlargement campaign the next two Sundays concluding on May 18. Pray family, friends, and neighbors will accept the invitation to come to church. Pray this will be a time for church members to really reach out to their community.
Creative Access: Tori Outlaw, daughter of David and Angie Outlaw, fell and broke her leg this past weekend. Pray God will ease any pain Tori may be experiencing and she will have a quick recovery.
Stateside: Paul Creech, former missionary to Côte d’Ivoire, was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus on January 29. Paul underwent surgery Monday, May 5. The surgery went well and the surgeons think they removed all the cancer. Paul is scheduled to be discharged from the hospital on May 12. Continue to pray Paul will have a quick recovery and this surgery will not limit his ability to preach.
Stateside: Paul and Chrissy Collins (career missionary), Neil and Mandi Morgan (career missionary), David and Kendra Dodson (career missionary), Casey Jones (short-term), and Caleb Dement (short-term) were appointed to service during the April board meeting. Pray for safety and encouragement as these new missionaries begin to raise their funds.
Brazil: Youth from the Marincek church were given the opportunity to attend a weekend retreat May 1-3. Praise God for the six young girls who attended and pray their relationship with the Lord will be deepened as a result of the retreat.
Globally: Continue to pray for the Leadership Matters Conference taking place in Costa Rica through May 18. Pray teachers will communicate information clearly and the students will grasp the different principles.
